Headland puts staffbay online to recruitment success

Leeds and Nottingham-based digital marketing agency Headland is playing a key role in the success of staffbay, a new, innovative, free online job search service for employers and jobseekers.

Headland has designed and built staffbay’s state-of-the art website, www.staffbay.com,  initiated an advanced search engine optimisation programme to boost its rankings and set up a substantial e-marketing campaign to drive site traffic.

Founded by Tony Wilmot and Elliot Kidd, and launched just a few weeks ago by Karren Brady of TV’s The Apprentice, staffbay has already signed up over 650 employers and well over 3,000 job candidates. Completely free to candidates staffbay lets employers advertise jobs for free and then pay a flat rate fee only when a job offer is accepted. 

Headland’s website design for staffbay enables employers and candidates to build personal and corporate profiles on the site using videos, photos and documents, and control who can access them. They can also link to the site via Facebook and Twitter and communicate directly with each other on the site using skype. Headland has also incorporated an e-commerce system into the site which allows staffbay to bill and accept payments from employers online.
