'Expedition Impossible' Recap: Episode 1, June 23
Team Kansas - Two students and one teacher from KansasThe rules are similar to The Amazing Race in that if you are last to the point, then you are out of the competition. Each team started the expedition by running up a sand dune in 95 degree heat. The Gypsies team was the first to the top, and first to the checkpoint where they found camels. Each team then had to choose three camels to bring them across the desert to the next checkpoint. The Country Boys team had to stop on the way up the dune because Chad seemed to be dehydrated.
No Limits and Fab 3 end up as the first two teams at the next checkpoint, where teams have to gather a full jug of water, which seems to be hidden. The Fab 3 started to dig in the sand, knowing it gets wet and moist. Thinking correctly, they find water, with help from The Gypsies, deep into the sand. The Football Players take water without helping. Teams follow suit by using the already dug hole. The Latin Persuasion and Country Boys bring up the rear, with the Latin Persuasion fighting constantly.
The next checkpoint is to climb up the Todra Mountain. Todra itself has parts where you must walk, climb, and even bungee. At the top, teams must rappel down the Todra Gorge. Once all three team members are down, they must walk up a dry river to the next checkpoint. The Gypsies retake the lead, as they quickly rappel down the mountain. No Limits passes The Football Players, but then they take the lead back. Mom's Army struggles down the rappel, as the mother is hurting all the way down.
After arriving at a snake charmer routine, they need to choose the correct number of snakes in the performance. If they choose correctl, they get a map to the finish, if not they get a map to a wrong way sign. Gypsies, Football Players, and Fab 3 choose 11 snakes, while No Limits chooses 10. No Limits find out that they were wrong, taking them a half hour off course. They go back and find fellow teams watching the performance. All the teams choose eleven. And the race to the end of the first leg begins.
The Gypsies chose the correct path and finished first, followed by the Fab 3, and the Football Players. The middle of the pack shows up, with just two teams left in the dark searching for the finish line, Latin Persuasion and Grandpa's Warriors. After a dark walk up the trail, Grandpa's Warriors beat the Latin Persuasion.

As somebody mentioned earlier, they were all taken by EB3 other workers all these years, it is better to ask USCIS to give preference to EB3-I and EB3-C before giving it to EB3 Other works so that they can get better share to complement for the lost happened all these years. I can understand the EB3-I frustration. We need to analyze who got the major share all these years and ask USCIS to give them to others lost in retrogression (EB3-I, EB3-C, EB2-I, EB2-C). It may not directly harm visa recapture or any other official IV campaigns - at least for now! But don't you think if EB3-I campaign to revert to the old way of handling the overflow succeeds at all their will be an immediate follow up, counter campaign to re-revert the decision by EB2s? I don't see an end to this fight and I don't see any winners in the long term. Diptam, Dont leave the employer but force them to terminate you after 160 days of filing I-485. Don't clear any client interview and force them to pay you salary as it is employers job to give you work. Take rest at home on full salary. A time will come when employer will no longer afford to loose any more money and they will terminate you. Also ask for severance package when they terminate you. (On paper) This visa bulletin looks like an attempt to sow discontent among the nascent EB organizations (IV in particular) and it seems to have succeeded. EB 3 have dropped off from state chapters(I have). It exposed the worst from all the groups. 2007 VB fiasco helped many, but it also created many issues for DOL and USCIS that its payback time for us, they will go through each rule with a fine tooth comb and make sure that this will never happen again. it is my opinion that in the end we lost big time. Sorry to read blaming debates between eb3 and eb2. Insted of blaming, it is better to take some action. Based on current practice by DOS, EB3-I will be like this for ever, unless more number opens up by any legislative changes. As per law, each EB catagories are allowed to have 40K visas. As demand for EB2 is more, (paricularly by In,Ch) one can not expect any flow from EB2 to EB3 . This is law one can not change it. Now I am coming to important point to take some action by EB3-I. The law says, 7% country quota will be applied in each prefrence catagory if worldwide demand for visas is more than supply in that catagory. But the law does not set any time frame. Therefore, the real threat for EB3-I is EB3-ROW.
