PROMOTIONS
Glenda Overstreet has been promoted to president of the Kansas state NAACP after the recent promotion of Kevin Myles to regional director. Overstreet formerly served as first vice president of the Kansas state NAACP Conference of Branches and as president of the Topeka Branch NAACP, a position she served for nearly four years. She brings to the position leadership qualities and knowledge with respect to NAACP’s strategic goals, initiatives, policies, and protocol. The Kansas state NAACP represents more than 2,000 members statewide with 19 branches.
FHLBank Topeka has announced the following promotions: Julia Burghart, from IT project manager to portfolio management office manager; John Bittel, from director of data integrity and compliance to assistant vice president; Gayle Smith, from IT administrative assistant to strategic planning administrator; Scott Sader, from security and systems administrator I to security and systems administrator II; Matt Koupal, from staff lawyer to compliance officer; Michelle Rose, from financial services analyst II to records manager; and Chris Cushing, from project manager to small projects and support supervisor.

Anna McCoy has joined the staff at Bolz & Lucas Chiropractic and will meet the public at an open house from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Bolz & Lucas office, 4990 S.W. 21st. McCoy is joining her father, Tim Bolz, and his partner, Steve Lucas, in the practice. She is a recent graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park and will offer Sacro Occipital Technique and pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care.
FHLBank Topeka has announced the following hirings: Brad Thomas, previously principal with Percepi Capital in Kansas City and chief risk officer for U.S. Central Federal Credit Union in Lenexa, as director of credit analytics; Joan Lickteig, previously a FHLBank contractor, as AHP specialist; Kaila Beeman, previously accounting manager with the Paola Accounting Office, as accounting policy and research specialist; Amanda Kiefer, previously assistant counsel at Security Benefit, as staff lawyer; and Breanna Short, previously a Senate Ways and Means Committee intern, as member credit analysis intern.
