Bill O'Reilly scolds Glenn Beck: 'If I was Cindy McCain, I'd slap the hell out ...
If you think about it for a second, Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck are sort of like the Odin and Thor of the Fox News pantheon. Like the one-eyed god-patriarch, Bill O’Reilly has grown out of his war-mongering hot-blooded youth , becoming more moderate and more willing to pursue diplomacy with the soulless red-eyed Frost Giants of the American Left. Beck, meanwhile, has become the network’s Chris Hemsworth: Younger, impetuous, dashingly handsome, and prone to full-scale assaults. So it was a matter of life imitating art when Glenn Beck appeared on Papa O’Reilly’s show on Friday to receive a light tongue-lashing. Some context: Beck had spent several minutes of his radio show vomiting over Meghan McCain’s skin cancer PSA , in which the senator’s daughter appears apparently naked. O’Reilly, for his part, thought Beck had gone too far: “If I was Cindy McCain, I’d slap the hell out of you.”
Beck didn’t really apologize, first noting that his vomit bit “doesn’t work on television, it works on radio,” because everyone knows that no one has ever made a successful vomit joke on television. Then he compared the uproar over Vomitgate to the uproar over Commongate, which is still a thing apparently. At this point, the O’Reilly/Beck face-off devolved into lovey-dovey backslapping, with O’Reilly swearing, “You are genuinely a nice guy. You’re a much nicer guy than I am!”
But let’s imagine instead that O’Reilly took this opportunity to sit up from his golden throne and scream at his young apprentice, “You are a vain, greedy, cruel boy!” To which Beck would scream back, “And you are an old man, and a fool!” O’Reilly would furrow his brow, shed a tear from his one remaining eye, and cast Beck out of the glorious golden Fox News kingdom until he has proven his worth. (And then O’Reilly would give his throne to Loki, who for the sake of this metaphor will be Shepard Smith.) Check out the video of what actually happened below…
Yeah Dashingly handsome? That doesn’t even make a lick of sense! For all the stupid stuff (Commongate) O’Reily talks I do love the fact he calls out people who hurt kids. I remember this judge who didn’t want to send a child rapist to prison because he was so small and the judge was scared the prisoners who hurt him. O’Reily rightfully called the judge out on that. If that monster can hurt a child, send him to prison, let them prisoners get him.

Wow, 30 inch display. Seems a bit much, especially with the economy being like it is right now, but it might be better by the time they would release this. I think 30 inches is to big for a computer display, sure it would be nice, but the price would probably be a too much, not to mention having a 30 inch monitor 2 feet in front of you seems a bit much. I would probably want one, being the gadget-geek that I am, always wanting new things. As for the "a new digital lifestyle device", I would like to see some portable video drive. It would need to have composite RCA outs, for hook up to a TV or something (or an adapter). I do a number of videos for my church, and it would be much easier to just load the video onto this device, take it to church and hook it up, and be good to go. Would cut down on using Mini-DV tapes, and would even be cheaper than DVD's (with current prices anyway). This is the only thing I could see needing 800mbps FW. I really would like to see this as a separate device from the iPod, because it would need a larger screen, color screen, and would probably drain a battery pretty quickly, so you wouldn't be able to use it so much for music. The device itself would probably need to be larger, so I'd rather see the iPod stay the size it is now, and just create a new device. My new display has a Mini DisplayPort, but my computer has a DVI connection. I didn't read the tech specs closely and now I have a display that can't connect to my computer. I've read about the Atlona dual link converter, but I've heard that will only work if my graphics card (ATI Radeon HD 2600) supports the resolutions that are available with the display. (I made a mistake in the subject line - my mac pro is early-2008.) That being said, all ATI 5xxx EYEFINITY 6 cards with DisplayPort work. All AMD Radeon 6xxx cards with DisplayPort work. And all nVidia GeForce cards with DisplayPort work. You can get a nice GeForce card w/ DP for $150. And any modern video card will support 2560x1440. Any DisplayPort video card on newegg will work for you as long as it isn't an ATi Radeon 5xxx card. You could also buy an Atlona DP400 but its $150, the same as a new video card (ripoff). Very nice, and tastefully done. Forget about the naked aspect, the pose, the look on her face, the angle of her head. I feel more compelled to look at the head up more than anything else. And I don't find anything pornograhpic about it. It isn't revealing, less so than a tight low cut top.
