Guster Biography

Guster is an American alternative rock band is known for its entertainment, humor, and cult following. It was founded by Adam Gardner, Ryan Miller and Brian Rosenworcel in 1991 while attending Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.

The group remained "underground" for her first album-length two, Parachute (1994) and Goldfly (1997), but broke into the musical trend in 1999 with his third studio album Lost and Gone Forever, with the only song "Fa Fa," where he made the Top 40 for adults.The group enjoyed moderate success on the charts with Keep It Together, her fourth album, with two single beds in the Adult Top 40 ("Warning" and "Amsterdam"). Joe Pisapia has joined the lineup official "Keep It Together" and the second album after its accession, conspire against the Sun, peaked at 25 on the Billboard 200.The band's music has been featured on numerous television movies, such as Martian Child, who introduced their song "Satellite" Disturbia, Wedding Crashers, Life as a house, which makes several references to the band Throughout the film, The OC, and one of the band's songs became the slogan of the Weather Channel.

Guster tours were originally local, but began to spread that the group has gained popularity. In 1999, Guster gave their first performance in Canada, became an international document.Guster after his international success with a 2004 tour in Great Britain who had four shows in London and Manchester. Guster maintains a liberal record and a community very active and dedicated recording. Despite this policy, the group has released several live shows via iTunes.

History

The band members met during orientation freshman year at Tufts University in 1991. A year later, after writing a few songs in their dorms, the group itself named Gus and booked her first concert. The band recorded its first album independently in 1994, called Parachute.This album established the group as a favorite of the same scene of the 1990s who became popular through bands like the Dave Matthews Band, The Disco Biscuits, moe., Phish, and Widespread Panic. The group was still in college when he recorded the album. Shortly after the publication of Parachute, another artist was called Gus signed a contract with a major record company, forcing the group to rename Guster.
