CO WEXFORD: €850,000  : A substantial Georgian house in Wexford is attracting interest from Irish buyers abroad

OFFERS in the region of €850,000 are being sought for The Old Rectory, a good-sized Georgian house on almost 8.5 acres at Killanne, Co Wexford, which has been owned by the same family for the last 25 years.

Diana Molohan of Colliers International, who is handling the sale, says the six-bedroom house has been “incredibly well maintained” by the present owners and is likely to be of particular interest to families who want to keep a few horses in the grounds. Her agency has been handling an increasing number of inquiries from Irish people based in the UK who are looking for good country houses now that values have fallen.

The Old Rectory echoes a gracious and leisurely lifestyle of a different era. In spite of this but they will not allow anyone to enter through them making them both functional for the owner and an added security tool to protect the home.
