Hitch Rails | RV, Trailer & Camper Parts
I am planning a trip to Japan, with my friend. (both being in our 20's)
We are both female and are also planning on living in Japan. I've read several articles on hitch hiking and still have my doubts. Should we attempt it? I wouldn't mind walking from place to place . . . my (older) brother is against any form of transportation that isn't taking a rail or taxi service, I disagree. I was thinking that hitch hiking in Japan would be similar to hitch hiking in USA or any other place as far as danger goes, but would it really be that bad I wonder. I am still looking for more information, should I try to get some of my guy friends to come with us, or would that matter?

From what I read out of it, it seems fairly safe, if uncommon.
